On Friday nights at Berwyn School of Music, we host our group classes or Berwyn Bandlabs as we call them. They are open to all skill levels and ages.
Berwyn Bandlab is our immersive group class where the kids get together weekly with seasoned songwriters Joe Starita and Jack Bomher to experience what it is like to be in an original band.
Using the skills they've learned in private lessons, they're given a menu of options. On the menu, are the variety of ways that we go about creating original ideas... and the menu is endless. The classes are designed to challenge the kids' way of thinking about music and about creativity itself. We are dedicated to building a creative community here in Berwyn and it starts with the kids in the neighborhood.
